The candidate will work within the policy framework of FCRC in its provision as a holistic Paediatric rehabilitation practice for children with Cerebral Palsy and motor diseases, by contributing to the therapy team to ensure the aims and objectives of the organisation are met.
The FCRC’s Managing Director (MD) position and will be accountable for leading the Centre’s strategy and clinical operational delivery to ensure services provide optimum patient care and experience, and ensure efficient use of resources.
As a member of the Executive team, reporting to the company director, the MD shares corporate responsibility for the overall strategic direction and management of the Centre to deliver performance objectives and patient outcomes.
The MD will ensure there is a constant and visible site leadership function to direct and lead the Senior Management Team to assure delivery of rehabilitation strategies and work plans. The role is responsible for enabling and establishing a positive ‘can do’ and thriving culture through his excellent communication and engagement within and outside of the Centre.
The MD role will have a critical role to play in deploying ground breaking strategic thinking and leadership which can lead and enable transformation of rehabilitation service to patients and their guardians.
Duties of this role include, but not limited to:
Ensure the Centre delivers quality, operational, financial and workforce performance against agreed plans.
Create and lead a positive engaging work environment which enables staff to flourish and be the best they can be to deliver good outcomes for patients
Regularly review Quality and Safety, Governance and Risk, Operational Performance and other statutory and mandatory key performance indicators to ensure all areas are performing and monitored.
· Take opportunities to review performance and triangulate information produced by therapists, observing behaviors, and undertaking honest, supportive and open discussions with staff.
Review performance to ensure consistent and good practice, and where there are performance gaps or failures, lead, support and direct staff to undertake remedial action required in a timely manner.
Work as a dynamic, innovative leader using a positive, strong influencing style to ensure the Centre is run effectively and to budget
Ensure the Centre delivers quality, operational, financial and workforce performance against agreed plans.
Regularly review Quality and Safety, Governance and Risk, Operational Performance and other statutory and mandatory key performance indicators at site level to ensure all areas are performing and monitored.
Ensure Safety & Integrity - protect patients, their confidentiality and the integrity of the practice to ensure patient satisfaction
Maintain Financial Stability - monitor the financial stability of the Centre.
Analyze Data - collect and recognize trends in data to plan future projects and monitor the daily operations of the facility to improve patient care.
Communicating with Personnel: By fostering strong communication across medical staff and non-medical staff, to create an efficient work environment.
Assess Problems - make decisions to resolve problems quickly.
Managing Policy - enforce policies and oversee the staffs’ compliance to policies.
Perform the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff members.
Manage internal and external communications, and answering queries about the Centre.
Plan and manage the Centre's budget and approve payroll
Perform quarterly and annual employee reviews and provide constructive feedback on their performance to help them meet professional goals
Handle Centre’s routine management operations.
Create and manage the Centre’s related human resource and finance objectives and customer service.
