The candidate will work within the policy framework of FCRC in its provision as a holistic Paediatric rehabilitation practice for children with Cerebral Palsy and motor diseases, by contributing to the therapy team to ensure the aims and objectives of the organisation are met.
Responsibilities of this position include market research, planning, developing, coordinating and implementing the Centre’s annual and strategic marketing plan. In addition, this position is responsible for promoting the organization throughout the community, encompassing advertising, community relations, media relations, internal communications and other promotions.
This high profile leadership role is responsible for driving the strategy, execution and measurement of integrated, multi-channel, go-to-market plans including but not limited to digital marketing (e.g. email, social media, retargeting, display), website and content development, traditional and new media channels (e.g. video, podcasts, events, print, radio) as well as executive communications, internal and external communications, public relations, media relations, crisis communication, and issues management.
Other general job duties include, but not limited to:
Managing promotional spending, create effective and efficient brand marketing programs and communication strategies directed toward patients, stakeholders and team members that help execute strategic priorities for the FCRC.
Implement brand strategy, define brand vision and instill passion in all levels of brand marketing team and cultivate brand ambassadors across the organization to ensure positive patient and team member brand experience across multiple channels
Study and understand industry trends, best practices and emerging strategies that will keep the brand marketing up to date and ensure competitive edge in brand awareness to patient and internal team member audiences
Develop brand campaigns that communicate our competitive differentiator as an integrated rehabilitation center utilizing consumer insights, analyzing brand positioning and collaborating with creative partners.
Define, monitor and redefine target audience segments as necessary to be intimately familiar with target audience segments' health care and wellness attitudes, media habits and resonant messaging and developing marketing mix strategies to encourage increased brand interaction and engagement
Leads the development and refinement of the brand's messaging strategies and creative designs in order to attract and retain prospective and existing patients particularly focused toward target audience segments
Develop weekly, monthly and annual brand calendar, manages timeline and coordination of logistics from conceptualization of strategy to execution against plan.
Play the leading role in establishing brand building strategies across paid media, web, digital and social channels and manages a brand marketing communications team working on web/social/digital integration, internal team member communications, content creation including the creation of advertising campaigns, marketing materials and promotions.
Work with external agency(ies) and creative/brand integrity specialists to ensure proper use of brand identity and that guidelines are maintained visually and verbally in all communications for consistent brand image and message
Communicate organization's Mission, Vision and Values through appropriate channels to external and internal audiences fostering pride for recruitment and retention
Work with social media posts and direct messages within 24 hours on designated social channel
Respond to social media posts and direct messages within 24 hours on designated social channel.
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
Serve as backup for Media relations and communications efforts
Assist with media call, inquiries and interviews.
