The candidate will work within the policy framework of FCRC in its provision as a holistic Paediatric rehabilitation practice for children with Cerebral Palsy and motor diseases, by contributing to the therapy team to ensure the aims and objectives of the organisation are met.
Your role is to manage the overall therapeutic and rehabilitation operations of the Centre. This position reports to the Centre’s Managing Director to develop and implement performance driven operational strategies and business development campaigns that increase patient service portfolio, grow market share and help achieve FCRC’s objectives.
Your responsibilities as Director of Operations include, but not limited to:
Manage the overall Operation
Oversee the daily functioning of various therapy practices to ensuring the efficient delivery of services within the Centre.
Works with the senior management team to create and deliver the strategic, operational and business development plan for the Centre to maximize patient activity and increase revenue.
Help identify business development opportunities such as new services or therapy practices to develop existing service portfolio.
First line evaluation of special needs children from physical therapy perspective, and their referral to other therapists like occupational therapy, speech, cognitive, neurology & orthopedic, if needed.
Develop customized programs for children (treatment program) and follow up their progression, with their parents & their therapists.
Group patients according to their needs (physically & mentally) to maximize the effectiveness of their rehabilitation program.
Refer to or liaise with external specialists such as orthopedic surgeons to describe the patient’s case and follow up their progress.
Prepare and approve patient’s medical reports required for schools to describe the case of each child and give recommendations to help teachers & classmates to deal perfectly with each case.
Evaluate the Centre’s therapists suitable for each treatment.
Conduct yearly appraisal of therapists.
Design and supervise internal training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
Attract faculty and external specialists/tutors to the Centre’s education program to improve the knowledge and skills of therapists.
